Do Women Do it Better?

Women don't have to PRACTICE, they DO! Okay gents, move over :-) Did you know................

that it was women in the Biblical Days that

1- taught values, ethics, morals and culture
2- kept the family together
3- developed AND Grew the relationships

Fast forward to 2008 and it is not surprising that women are fast taking over the Network Marketing Industry simply because they do not have to "work" at the above mentioned qualities and attributes.

Women are Natural Networkers.

I grew up in the 50's and 60's when women were still "homemakers" and did not work outside the home. Times changed gradually and women all over the Nation suddenly found themselves "without skills" to obtain traditional jobs. Wooohooooo, what a stroke of luck!

Women not only

1- taught values, ethics, morals and culture
2- kept the family together
3- developed AND Grew the relationships but they also were fabulous accountants, social directors, nutritionists, executive dispatchers and the list goes on.

Running a home and a family required (and STILL requires) a laundry list of skills that women developed, never realizing these skills were exceptionally marketable in "the business world".

Women are natural networkers! They have LISTENING skills and do so with their HEART as well as with their ears; they develop relationships with people based on the other persons needs, NOT their own. Women are used to GIVING, whether it be to a spouse, children, The PTA, etc. It is no wonder that our beloved industry is now replete with fabulous and successful women who have "come in to their own, REALIZE and TAKE OWNERSHIP of their skills, and reach out to others to nurture them.

How do you define your credentials?

1- Define and Draft a list of YOUR TALENTS and SPECIAL QUALITIES
2- Look at your home life, your experiences, as well as your "J.O.B."
3- Be willing to ACCEPT that you have natural talents
4- SHARE those talents with others
5- Repeat #1 often

Need affirmation of your skills and talents? Check with your Church/Synagogue associates and organizations, PTA, Community Groups, Social Groups, etc.

Write down all the things you do on a daily basis to keep your household running.

Repeat #1 often

May your day be a treasure bringing Increase and Plenty to your door.

What if You REALLY ARE What you THINK you are?

The power is WITHIN you. Many of us are looking elsewhere for the "magic", lament that others "always have the luck" or feel that we "will never be able to achieve" what others have.

Simply put, our hearts desire is empowered and grows when we THINK and ENVISION what we want, in actually picture format. The magic? Believing that we WILL attain our desire, HOLDING ON to that picture in our heart AND brain and ALLOWING the Universe to help orchestrate the outcome. We must never forget that we are a Magnate that attracts what we get, so keeping focused, "right thinking" and consistently HOLDING ON to that picture creates positive energy.

To learn more about how YOU hold the power to create your own life, paint your own landscape, I will gift you TNT The Power Within You by Claude Bristol, with my love. What you will read in the pages of this book WILL change your life IF you have the desire to learn from them and ACT on them.

Claim your copy of TNT by Sending an email to AtTheTop@Gmail.com
Be sure and put "TNT" in the Subject line and include your full name, email address and telephone number in the body of the email. In addition, if you would like a one on one consultation, please let me know the best time to contact you to set up a complementary 45 minute call.

I wish you a lifetime of whatever it is that you PICTURE for yourself.

May your day be a treasure bringing Increase and Plenty to your

Are you a Network Marketing Elephant?

Are you a Network Marketing Elephant?

Remember going to the circus as a little kid? Think back and you will remember seeing how the animal handlers keep the elephants at bay. They used conditioning to get the elephants to do (or not do) what they wanted them to do!

The elephant had a rope tied around its leg even as a little baby & then the rope was tied to a stake that was driven into the ground. The elephant could not move. Even as the elephant grew and matured, its two tons of muscle and force REMAINED tied down by a tiny rope and stake.

WHY? What's their secret?

The handlers trained the elephant from birth to stay put using the rope. That’s called Conditioned Consciousness. Over time, the beautiful beast becomes convinced it can't pull out the stake. And because it's convinced it can't, it can't!

We do the same thing.

We convince ourselves we cannot earn a million dollars a year, so we don't. Not only that, the actions we don't take preclude us from being in a position or circumstance to earn a million dollars a year or meet our goals.

We are convinced we will never meet the right prospects. Therefore, the actions we don't take preclude us from ever meeting or attracting the right prospects.

Or, we want to grow our team and better our relationships with our teammates. We have a good relationship but we want to take it to the next level. But we can't see (envision) that next level is right there waiting for us, and so we don't take the right steps to get to that next level.

We are not using visualization or belief! We are stuck because of the rope tied around our ankle. It is called….. self fulfilling prophesy.

Tug just a little and you will snap the rope, begin to visualize. EXPECT success. The Secret is to TAKE ACTION, my friends.

As you may know, Libra is the beginning of the New Year. The holiday of Rosh Hashanah is the re-creation of the world – our world. We are given a blank slate. Therefore, now is the ideal time to look at your conditioning and reprogram our thoughts that EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE.

Love, healing, well-being, prosperity, simple happiness, confidence, success, - what is it you want?

You ALREADY ARE everything you want to be; just take action and the Laws of Intention and Attraction will be there for you! If you work 99% on your consciousness, you'll notice that your 1% (physical circumstances) will change and grow. Your consciousness will invoke The Law of Intention and she enlist her sister, The Law of Attraction to help.

What is it you are convinced you can't achieve?
You CAN achieve your hearts desire by CHANGING the way you think AND taking action immediately :-)

You will be on your way to an incredible year, and life!

Go for YOUR personal best :-) It takes perseverance and KNOWING that you will attain your goals and dreams! Remember, you ALREADY ARE everything you want to be; just take action and the Laws of Intention and Attraction will be there for you! Simply tug on that little rope and free yourself from your conditioning !

Network Marketing and YOUR Goals

Remember this is YOUR journey; one that you should enjoy as you learn, grow and share... these tips will help you do just that.

Network Marketing can help us achieve our individual goals more than any other business paradigm. Once we have selected our vehicle (company) the important thing is to understand that we need to develop skills. What’s that?

In actuality, the optimum journey would be to learn and develop our skills FIRST and then learn how to evaluate and select an opportunity and company. So now that your passion has been ignited and you have your goals, what do you do?

1- Seek guidance from your sponsor or someone in your upline that is willing to give you a helping hand and put you on your journey towards success.

2- Understand and practice The Slight Edge (Jeff Olson). Do not be impatient and know that each baby step you take and performing those steps consistently and on a daily basis will be the most rewarding thing you can do.

3- Teaching others to do the same thing will enhance your ability to grow a fruitful and successful organization. This is Duplication at it's finest!

Remember that sponsor or upline that may be willing to help and guide you? Be sure that you find out WHAT systems they use and HOW to use them. Do not attempt to reinvent the wheel, my friend. It doesn’t matter whether or not you are new to network marketing or you have been in network marketing for 20 years. Each team has a system that they use. In most cases, the system will increase your ability to grow your business.

Here are a few tips:

1-Be prepared to WORK and decide how many hours you are willing to devote to your business.

2- Read The Slight Edge (Jeff Olson) and understand that building your business is a journey and reliant on your doing a few simple things over a long period of time, over and over again on a consistent basis (and teaching others to do the same thing)

3- Do not freeze. Remember, nobody knows what you DON’T know or what you might leave out in a presentation. Most people are NOT The Amazing Kreskin and cannot read your mind! Relax, learn on the job and enjoy!

4- Seek council and feedback from your sponsor, upline or mentor. Remember to invite constructive criticism in order to hone your skills.

5- Continue to attain your (written) goals of contacting/meeting/approaching people on a daily basis.

6- Be sure you have your written goals in a place that you can review them OFTEN.

Knowing that you are on a daily journey will reinforce your ability to stick to your plan and continue on a daily basis.

Remember this is YOUR journey; one that you should enjoy as you learn, grow and share!

Helping other people focus and teaching them how to grow is the real payoff in Network Marketing!

May your day be a treasure bringing Increase and Plenty to your door.

How to attain your Personal Best

Hello my friends,

"The starting point of all achievement is desire. Keep this constantly in mind. Weak desire brings weak results, just as a small amount of fire makes a small amount of heat." Napoleon Hill

Napoleon Hill finally published Think and Grow Rich in the 1930's. It took him TEN YEARS of interviewing people before he sat down to write his book!

He had a goal, wrote it down and then TOOK ACTION, 10 years of action!

Success usually does not take that long. So what do you do first?

1- Define your goal(s)

2- Write them down

3- Take Action Every Day

4- KNOW that you will attain your goal. BELEIVE in yourself

Do something daily that will move you forward. This action may not get you to your end goal, however, like Napoleon Hill, it will progressively move you forward, each and every day :-)

Napoleon Hill could not sit down and write a book in 1 day or even a week or a month.

He started by taking action, interviewing people on a consistent basis, honing his own interviewing skills as he talked with each person.

Remember the old adage from Mom? I bet it is rattling around your brain someplace! I can see myself at the Piano as a little girl hearing my Mom say it!

Ask Michael Phelps the Champion Olympian Swimmer....... he knows the adage too:

"Practice makes perfect".

To be perfect, one must practice. That requires action each and every day!

Here's a secret: you do NOT have to be perfect (unless you are Michael Phelps) to attain your goal as long as you believe in yourself and take (the correct) actions each and every day.

Go for the Gold! You can do it AND you deserve it!

May your day be a treasure bringing Increase and Plenty to your door.

Perception, Gratitude and Dancing in the Rain :-)

Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass; it’s about learning to dance in the rain.

Author Unknown

Wow! How many of us miss all the good stuff that COULD BE because we just don’t know how to appreciate and live in Gratitude?

Yesterday I woke up and on my way to the stairway I found my English Siamese Pussy Cat, Sweet Pea who had decided to stretch out and take a nap, right at the foot of the stairs. Sweet Pea is the same color as my carpet and I didn’t see her! Ooops! I suddenly felt her fur on the bottom of my foot as a quickly withdrew it and broke my toe in the misstep! Ouch

Living in Gratitude means finding the good or positive things in an event or situation.

If I had stepped on Sweet Pea she could have been critically hurt. Splat! I could have lost My balance and tumbled down the stairwell and broken an arm, leg or worse!

Yesterday was a wonderful day! I did not squish the cat, nor did I break a leg! I am sporting a rainbow toe that is
the most beautiful color of raspberry magenta I’ve seen in years. It is a great conversation piece……….. especially for me, a Network Marketer.

Now I am not suggesting that you go and break a toe to start conversations J And, beware of kitties lazing underfoot. The lesson is, however, that I am ever grateful for NOT hurting myself and for my colorful toe which introduced me to several wonderful People yesterday!

Living in Gratitude means perceiving or seeing things differently!

13 years ago I met an old friend, her daughter and husband in New Orleans. I had just moved to Texas from New Jersey, where my friends were still living and it was a reunion of sorts. Two wonderful things happened on that trip!

I wore a lovely summer straw hat on the plane and it seems, other people thought so too as it became a conversation piece allowing me to meet a few great folks, several of whom are STILL my friends. But, when my friends met me at the airport, my dear friend exclaimed, “Oh, it’s just like you to wear a hat and draw attention to yourself”. Negative energy and perception go hand and hand, my friends.

Be aware, be awake and always listen to the Universe!

The second lesson appeared as we were on Bourbon Street going through the Art Galleries and Shops. Suddenly the skies opened up and there was a DELUGE of rain. It rained in torrents for about 15 minutes greeting the already sultry, steamy atmosphere with more of the same.

Make yummy Lemonade, or is this a lesson on Perception?

My friend, bless her, was “upset” about the rain and exclaimed that it was ruining HER day.
Me? I put my straw hat on her husband’s head for safe keeping, ripped off my sandals, lifted my skirts and ran out into the gutters splashing into the torrent of water rushing down the street.

A funny thing happened
in that that moment. People started emerging out of the shops. After watching me for a minute or two, some of them actually joined me in a “gutter splash”, giggling and laughing to THEIR hearts content! LITERALLY, we were dancing in the rain! I even lifted my head and opened my mouth to TASTE the rain!

When was the last time you tasted the rain?

My friends, “Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass; It's about learning to dance in the rain.” **

Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass; it’s about what you do DURING the
Storm that counts!

Remember, you ALREADY ARE everything you want to be, just Take Action and invoke the Law of Intention and her sister, The Law of Attraction will bring you where you want to be!

Go ahead, DANCE in the rain and check this short video out to put a smile on your face!

Thanks to my friend Donna Jean from
Thoughts for the Day for sending this poignant reminder to us all!

May your day be a treasure bringing Increase and Plenty to your door.

July 4th and YOUR Independence

The 4th of July was known as Independence Day!

Happy July 1st my friends!

The events in our great history leading up to The Fourth of July insured that we all might pursue our freedom, greatness and success each as we choose.

Mac Anderson who writes Simple Truths and brings us lovely inspiring videos writes today about personal greatness and success.

"Dr. Martin Luther King said, “Everyone has the power of greatness. Not for fame but greatness. Because greatness is determined by service.”

Success is a very personal thing, but I think most people would agree that true success is about being fulfilled in LIFE. And, I feel there would be no greater feeling to look back toward the end of your life with a “smile in yourheart” knowing that
you made a positive difference in the lives of others."

Mac inspired a book which talks about the importance of (hand) writing notes to people because, in this electronic age of email and unlimited phone service, we forget the Joy and Gratitude that a hand written note brings to the recipient. It does not matter what you write; the psycho-emotional message is loud and clear and is that you CARED enough about the person to take a moment to express your gratitude to them, in written form.

Your penned note will be the exception in their mailbox, and one that will not only bring a smile to the recipient, it will give them a feeling of "being thought of" and gratitude that is becoming so illusive these days!

Think back to when you were a kid and Grandma sent you a Birthday Card IN THE MAIL. It mattered note what she wrote or what the card said! What mattered was that she thought enough to send it to you and remembered yourbirthday! Give your customers the gift of Caring. It will come back to you in ways that you could never imagine!

Compassionate Marketing teaches relationship and also teaches that we GIVE a little bit of ourselves when we and scribe notes to our customers and new affiliates. Mac and I are on the same page; what about you?

Be sure to continue to send out thank you notes to your customers. Keep your personal file on them and send birthday, anniversary and no occasion notes too. Your customers will enjoy the notes and KNOW that you appreciate THEM! This is a simple formula for retention, which as we know, pays handsomely.
Along the way you will develop many warm & rewarding relationships.

During this week leading up to our "Independence Day", please remember the events in our great history leading up to The Fourth of July insured that we all might pursue our freedom, greatness and success each as we choose.
What do you choose?

May your day be a treasure bringing Increase and Plenty to your door.

Tales from Town Lake: Strange Bedfellows & a Tornado

Taking to Town Lake running trail after the Austin Tornado was gratifying :-) All the 100 year old trees managed to Survive the winds, softball size hail and torrents of rain. Most relented and gave up their weak branches, receiving a "mental cleanse" from Mother Nature.

A Mental Cleanse? Yes! The weak branches were sucking life out of the trees, hanging on for dear life and causing the tree trunk and healthy branches to suffer and wan. Such it is with those of us who cling on to the dead wood in our mind; that which zaps our energies, causes us self doubt and stands in the way of our Success, Joys and Laughter.

A destructive tornado is not necessary for you to clean up your mind. There are some very specific steps you can take that will be positive;

1- Agree with yourself that you need to do some "personal work" to eliminate those ghosties and dead wood
2- Create a Goal to take steps to RESOLVE and LET GO those issues

What to do First?

1- Look at yourself in the mirror and wrap your arms around yourself and have a big hug.

Make sure you tell yourself that "you love you". This is not easy to do and you may have to start with just "liking yourself"!

2- Embark on a DAILY personal growth program (reading, writing, Cd's, tapes, DVDs) 15 minutes IN THE MORNING and then 30-45 minutes before you go to bed.

~~~Starting your day with positive action creates the footprint of your day.
~~~Ending your day with positive thoughts sets your mind to thinking and working through POSITIVE things.

3- Do not Judge yourself. Be KIND to yourself. Experience Joy, laughter and gratitude each and every day. Create a "Blessing Box" and put little notes in it daily. At the end of the day open it up and read your Blessings for the day.

What goes in your blessing box? Here's what is in mine for today so far;

~~~Thank you for raising the water in Town Lake so that the fishes have ample room to swim. Their beauty and frolicking is amazing and joyful!
~~~Thank you for my ability to complete 5.5k run today

~~~Thank you for the opportunity to behold the ducks who survived the tornado. ( White Duck lost her mate and a Mallard Duck adopted her. Since ducks mate for life, it was quite a beautiful thing to see and experience.
Relationships are amazing! Strange Bedfellows CAN create beautiful and lasting bonds!
~~~I am gratified and thankful to be able to offer $160 in free product to New Affiliates this week. (Please contact me for more information)

4. Set your goals and take action daily. Use The Slight Edge and understand that it will work for you IF you do not quite. Take baby steps toward your goals, each and every day.

5. Remember that only you control the thoughts in your mind. You can Vanquish the negative thoughts if you are aware of them and remember that you are in control of who visits your mind. It's valuable real estate. Take charge of who you let in!

6. Practice Abundance, Prosperity and Kindness towards YOURSELF, each and every day!

7. Remember, you ALREADY ARE who you think you are; just take action to bring it to you!

May your day be a treasure bringing Increase and Plenty to your door.

Compassionate Marketing Lessons from the Running Trail

I started Running again last week! It's been 4 years since I last ran my daily 5 Kilometers twice a day. I stopped running after 5 years because I got "dizzy" on that last 99 degree day and almost didn't make it home. When I run, my body temperature goes up about 15 degrees! It was SCARY and I couldn't bring myself to get back to one of the things I loved best because of that fear!

Know what I mean?

For me, running clears my head, allows me to hear myself think and allows me to work out and focus on my plan of action for the day. It allows me to focus on my daily, weekly, monthly and long term goals. NOT running has taken its toll on the way my days shake out :-(

So, back to beautiful Town Lake in Downtown Austin Texas (The Colorado River runs right through downtown) where one can embrace nature, the flowers and fauna and clean out the cobwebs in your mind. Some bike the trail, some walk and some are running. ALL are experiencing their own "daily mental cleanse" no matter which activity they do.

What about you?

What are YOU doing to clean out your brain and keep planning and DOING on a daily basis?

A funny thing happened today on the trail. Actually, 3 things, all related.

First I saw a BEAUTIFUL Doberman Pinscher puppy, only about 12 weeks old. He had just had his ears "clipped" (ouch!) and probably shouldn't have been there. He was cowering in between his owners' legs while the bikes whizzed by, the people ran past and the walkers meandered on their way. This puppy was SCARED of all of it. The noises, the smells, the din! There was just much too much going on for this little fella. His name was Adler. I wanted desperately to go over to him and get some licks and pet him but as I quietly inched my way up to him, stopping and cooing his name every foot or so, he got more and more upset. His "owner", a young lady who had never had pets before (and was certainly NOT a Mother) did not understand that Adler was scared, or why. She kept on pulling him on.

I am an animal lover, and although I share my living space with Sweet Pea an English Siamese Cat, this beautiful, large pawed, two toned reddish brown Dobie baby was calling to me. Alas, I couldn't get near him!

~~What did he make of all the confusion?

~~What did he make of the person who he was supposed to trust and rely on for support, love and caregiving?

~~What did he think of himself?

Adler has not been empowered by his "owner" nor has he been embraced or given the option to learn the skills that will make him a strong, empowered, secure pet/animal/sentient being.

What about you?

The second thing that happened on the trail today was when I was sprinting a section of the path and suddenly found myself in a fit of giggles so hard I had to stop. Coming towards me was a runner with her dog on a lead. THIS dog was, get ready............part dachsund and part wire haired terrior. Looooooooooong and standing about 4 inches from the ground he had curly white hair like a terrior with spots of brown and black. His tail was long and his ears were held in a way that didn't allow them to flop as he ran with his human.

THIS animal was a king amongst kings! He was REGAL in his trot AND the way he carried his head. He was secure in who he was and was enjoying the moment. He KNEW he was perfect and exuded that to all those who looked (and giggled) as they gazed on him.

What about you?

The third thing that I experienced today was, on this trail teaming with animals and their humans trotting, running, sprinting, walking and biking.........an older gent MEANDERING down the running trail at a snails' pace with his cane. I had stopped a few yards behind him to catch me breath and ponder the water, the birds and marvel at the clarity that overwhelmed me. Slowly, I approached this old fellow. He methodically put one foot in front of the other and then moved his cane. He then stopped to admire a bird, flower, or the flow of the Colorado River. It's been storming here the last few days and the river is high and pregnant with life. SO WAS THIS Older fellow. I stopped along side him and said "howdy" ( the customary hello in Austin) and he smiled, slowing down even further. I asked him if he was enjoying his walk and he beamed with pride, self assurance, perseverence and the knowledge that HE WAS DOING JUST WHAT HE INTENDED on doing for the day! We chatted briefly, I hailed goodbye and was off...... but will never forget the three lessons I learned today.

They are all related.

You ARE what you THINK you are.

It is all about your SELF IMAGE and

what you THINK about yourself.

Adler the Grand Doberman Pinscher puppy wil never be secure or loving. He is a sad, cowering little puppy with no support from his human owner.

My little Dauchsie/Terrier mix IS a king among kings; grand, secure, eloquent in his movement and the way he carried himself, poised and sure of himself.

My elderly Gent eclipsed them all in lessons today. He accomplished what he set out to do today.

All three ARE what they think they are!

What about you?

What can we learn from Passover?

Tonight is the beginning of Passover celebrating the liberation of the Jewish People from Egypt. The Jewish people were enslaved and ironically, the manpower and brains behind the everlasting pyramids and monuments left behind by their captores, The Egyptians.

Who are your captores? Are you allowing yourselves to be enslaved?

When Moses won the right for the Jewish people to leave Egypt, only about 25% of the Jewish people CHOSE to go with him. What mindset pervaded those who stayed behind? Familiarity, apathy and a lack of personal desire and will.

What mindset for those who CHOSE to leave? Vision, promise and the desire for a better life!

The Jewish people wandered the desert for 40 years. Their existance and very life required peserverence, goal setting, vision and a BELIEF system that would ensure their success.

Are you stuck in your own Egypt?

Write down your goals, desires and vision and BEGIN the journey. I promise, you will NOT wander the desert for 40 years. By the way, if we could transport back to the time when Joshua and Moses found themselves at the doorstep of their "Land of Milk and Honey", they would tell you that their 40 year journey WAS WORTH IT!

For my Jewish friends and dear Readers,

Finding Your Inner Truth

Where do we find our inner truth?

The last several weeks find me cultivating and growing a new friendship. Each conversation reveals a little more about my friend, AND myself. You see, as we "tell stories" about ourselves, our lives, our families, we are imprinting what WE BELIEVE to be true on to others, and the Universe.

We have studying Perception, and know that perhaps, what we THOUGHT we saw, felt, tasted, experienced, may not have been exact or even true! We each bring our perceptions to our present and past, so it is important to keep that in mind.

Find the truth FOR yourself IN yourself. Helen Mirin put it best, "Find the Truth OF yourself".

Finding the truth FOR yourself requires that you

1- have the Intention of being KIND to yourself

2- know that you are Worthy and Valuable

3- not be judgemental of yourself

4- be able to embrace yourself

5- be willing to celebrate WHO you are

Our individual identities are NOT a reflection of what others think we are. The chatter and the smog in our brain, emotions and psyche usually cloud our ability to recapture and REMEMBER exactly who we are.

Several exercises that will allow you to RECLAIM the ability to to that are:

1- remember when you were a small child, without preconceptions or prejudice. Remember the DELIGHT, the NEWNESS of an experience or thing, the simple pleausures like LAUGHTER and JOY. Now take a mental journey to a place you CREATE in your minds' eye and allow yourself to FEEL your emotions without judgement.

2- Realize that it is only you that controls your thoughts. We all have choices. Do not let ANYONE rent space in your brain. It is precious real estate my friend! Create your own "perfect day" or "perfect moment". Feel, smell, see, all the beauty and warm feelings that accompany your perfect moment or day. Allow yourself to be EMBRACED by the feelings and emotions.

3- KNOW and understand that your perfect day is a tool that you might use to BLOCK OUT any negative voice that creeps in to your brain. It's free, it's powerful, it's UNIQUE and it is you!

Finding the truth FOR yourself by looking INTO yourself and you will, as Helen Mirin put it best, "Find the Truth OF yourself" AND, as Shakespeak so eloquently and simply stated, "To Your Own Self Be True!"

May your day be a treasure bringing Increase and Plenty to your door.

Getting from Here to There

Before you can BE successful, you must know where it is you want to go, what steps you will have to take to get there and what is standing in your way.

Where You Want to Go

Setting a goal sounds easy, but it is not. In order for your goal to become attainable you must define it with great clarity and detail.

1- Write down you basic concept and then keep reworking it until it is EXACTLY what you want to attain.

2- Use your original notes and then write down your Goal IN DETAIL.

3- Describe, using all of your six senses what your life will be like and look like, when you attain your goal. What will it smell, FEEL, taste, look, like? What sounds will you hear? What does your Intuition (your Sixth Sense) TELL you, MAKE YOU FEEL like?

4- Speak your Goal into existence on a daily basis by creating affirmations and statements that describe your life as if you have already attained your goal (s). Repetition and emotion are the magic elixir that will initiate The Laws of Intention and Attraction to your doorstep!

5- Hold Faith that the Universe will arrange people, places, and situations to happen that will help you achieve your goal. BE ALERT and willing to take advantage of these situations when they occur. There are NO coincidences in life; situations are either opportunities (for those that ACT on them), or opportunities lost.

The Steps you will have to take to get there

1- Make a commitment to yourself
2- Learn the Skills that will be needed
3- Find and USE the TOOLS to help you
4- Take ACTION on a daily basis
5- Don’t quit; be there two years from now. Rome was not built in a day :-)

Practice The Slight Edge theory which states that you must take baby steps each day to get where you want to go.

Thomas Edison found 978 ways NOT to construct a Light Bulb, but the 979th way was THE RIGHT to do it! If Mr. Edison quit before he got to the 979th way, Civilization would be “living in the dark” without electric light bulbs! He stated with great delight and pride that he had found 978 ways NOT to make a lightbulb, and by the way, many of those 978 ways NOT to make a lightbulb produced many other great inventions!

What is standing in your way?

1- Do not let anyone Rent Space in Your Brain! It’s valuable territory! We all have those “little voices” in our mind that tell us we cannot do this or that. Perhaps it’s your Auntie or your Dad. YOU can do whatever you set your mind to accomplish; the voices only have control over you IF you let them control you so

2- Clear your brain and BELIEVE in yourself. Free yourself from self doubt by reclaiming your mind; it’s valuable territory and YOU and you alone control it!

3- Start a Daily Personal Growth program. Read a good book, listen to CD’s, watch a DVD that will keep you motivated, keep you moving forward and believing in yourself. Read at least 15-30 minutes in the morning and then again before you go to bed each night. Remember, your mind works on the LAST thing you feed it at night, so be sure to give it something enriching to work on (instead of watching the news on television)

4- Write down affirmations and review them (with emotion) on a daily basis to keep yourself moving forward and motivated.

5- Learn to BELIEVE in yourself and your abilities. If you have learned the proper skills, have clear, decisive goals and learn to TRUST in yourself then you will invoke the Laws of Intention and Attraction and they will be your constant companions on your Journey towards Success.

6- Remember that once you attain your Goal that you must create a NEW goal and begin once again! There is nothing better in life than to KNOW that we each have the ability create and achieve. We must always remember that it is the JOURNEY that is important and we must covet and enjoy each new path that we embark on!

7- Always be sure to Believe in yourself and practice “THE KNOW”. The Know is simply your ability, deep down inside you to realize that you are worthy and deserving and that by taking the correct steps, invoking The Laws of Intention and Attraction you WILL attain your goals. Belief is the KEY ingredient in your success!

Giving = Gratitude = Receiving= Success

Compassionate Marketers come in all sizes and colors, and are born out of...............other Compassionate Marketers. As we strive to reach out to others, teach then and help them on their journey to success, we are truly RECEIVING the best gift of all! The Gift of Giving makes us richer than we might ever imagine!

Giving = Gratitude = Receiving= Success

We can learn about Giving from the story of The Red Marble:

"I was at the corner grocery store buying some early potatoes. I noticed a small boy, delicate of bone and feature, ragged but clean, hungrily apprising a basket of freshly picked green peas. I paid for my potatoes, but was also drawn to the display of fresh green peas. I am a pushover for creamed peas and new potatoes. Pondering the peas, I couldn't help overhearing the conversation between Mr. Miller (the store owner) and the ragged boy next to me.

'Hello Barry, how are you today?' 'H'lo, Mr. Miller. Fine, thank ya. Jus' admirin' them peas. They sure look good..' 'They are good, Barry. How's your Ma?' 'Fine. Gittin' stronger alla' time.' 'Good. Anything I can help you with?' 'No, Sir. Jus' admirin 'them peas.'

'Would you like take some home?' asked Mr. Miller.
'No, Sir. Got nuthin' to pay for 'em with.'
'Well, what have you to trade me for some of those peas?'
'All I got's my prize marble here.' '

Is that right? Let me see it, said Miller. 'Here 'tis. She's a dandy.' 'I can see that. Hmmmmm, only thing is this one is blue and I sort of go for red. Do you have a red one like this at home?' the store owner asked. 'Not zackley but almost.' 'Tell you what.

Take this sack of peas home with you and next trip this way let me look at that red marble', Mr. Miller told the boy.

'Sure will. Thanks Mr. Miller.' Mrs. Miller, who had been standing nearby, came over to help me. With a smile said, 'There are two other boys like him in our community, all three are in very poor circumstances. Jim just loves to bargain with them for peas, apples, tomatoes, or whatever. When they come back with their red marbles, and they always do, he decides he doesn't like red after all and he sends them home with a bag of produce for a green marble or an orange one, when they come on their next trip to the store.'

I left the store smiling to myself, impressed with this man. A short time later I moved to Colorado , but I never forgot the story of this man, the boys, and their bartering for marbles.
Several years went by, each more rapid than the previous one. Just recently I had occasion to visit some old friends in that Idaho community and while I was there learned that Mr. Miller had died. They were having his visitation that evening and knowing my friends wanted to go, I agreed to accompany them.

Upon arrival at the mortuary we fell into line to meet the relatives of the deceased and to offer whatever words of comfort we could. Ahead of us in line were three young men. One was in an army uniform and the other two wore nice haircuts, dark suits and white shirts...all very professional looking.

They approached Mrs. Miller, standing composed and smiling by her husband's casket.. Each of the young men hugged her, kissed her on the cheek, spoke briefly with her and moved on to the casket. Her misty light blue eyes followed them as, one by one, each young man stopped briefly and placed his own warm hand over the cold pale hand in the casket.

Each left the mortuary awkwardly, wiping his eyes. Our turn came to meet Mrs. Miller. I told her who I was and reminded her of the story from those many years ago and what she had told me about her husband's bartering for marbles. With her eyes glistening, she took my hand and led me to the casket. 'Those three young men who just left were the boys I told you about. They just told me how they appreciated the things Jim 'traded' them. Now, at last, when Jim could not change his mind about color or size....they came to pay their debt.'

'We've never had a great deal of the wealth of this world, 'she confided,' but right now, Jim would consider himself the richest man in Idaho ' With loving gentleness she lifted the lifeless fingers of her deceased husband. Resting underneath were three exquisitely shined red marbles. The Moral : We will not be remembered by our words, but by our kind deeds. Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath. Today I wish you a day of ordinary miracles ~ A fresh pot of coffee you didn't make yourself. An unexpected phone call from an old friend. Green stoplights on your way to work. The fastest line at the grocery store. A good sing-along song on the radio. Your keys found right where you left them. Send this to the people you'll never forget. I just Did... IT'S NOT WHAT YOU GATHER, BUT WHAT YOU SCATTER THAT TELLS WHAT KIND OF LIFE YOU HAVE LIVED!

May your day be a treasure bringing Increase and Plenty to your door.

Leap Year Gifts!

Save this message. It will only come to you every 4 years :-)

Although I was born in November (1948), I am a "Leap Year Baby" in that I was born in a Leap Year! Maybe that is why I never seemed to have enough time to accomplish all the things I want to do.

What about you?

When we slow down and take stock of WHO we are, WHAT we want to accomplish and HOW we plan on doing that, we can then put a plan into action.

The steps to making a plan are easy:

1- Write it down

2- Use a "help" tool, such as The Slight Edge Charts to measure your daily activity

3. Start and maintain your personal development by reading or listening to cd's on a daily basis.

4. Do a personal "review" weekly and REVISE or ADJUST your activities

5. Find a work out buddy or mentor and connect with them often

6. Make sure that your Plan includes "personal time" to enjoy your family,
friends, and make time for your Spiritual life too!

7. Laugh every day.

8. Give without expectation of receiving anything in return

9. Be aware of your environment, surroundings and the music of nature

10. Practice gratitude

Happy Leap Year 2008! We have an extra day to reach out to others and help them realize that they might live their dreams! Make the most of your extra day and know that you are touching the lives of others in a positive way! The Gift of Giving on Leap Year Day is a special blessing :-)

Perception, Opportunity and Dennis The Menace

I ran across a TERRIFIC quote today. Many of you will think back to the TV series and reminisce about this person, and the interesting thing to me is the TAG or LABEL that we put on him.

"People wait for opportunity to come along...yet it is there every morning."~ Dennis the Menace

Wow, you may remember the series was about a little boy who was ALWAYS getting in to things. Let's twist our perception around for a minute. NOW we see that the premise IS that Dennis believed that opportunity was there, EVERY DAY and all he had to do is................you guessed it, TAKE ACTION!

Think about the other characters, Mr. & Mrs. Wilson the neighbors and even The Mitchells, his parents. The original comic strip set Dennis in the early 50's I think, when I was growing up. In those days, Mothers wore aprons and wouldn't think of working (the were proud HOUSEWIVES) and the elderly retirees, The Wilsons were not forward thinking people. Mr. Wilson put years in to 1 job, retired and then just wanted to sit in his rocking chair and rock away the rest of his life.

Now think about the flavor and opportunity that Dennis gave to the Wilsons! Hmmm, even Mrs. Wilson became Dennis' champion, somehow seeing and appreciating that Dennis was bringing Mr. Wilson back to a meaningful life rather than twiddling his life away on a Rocker :-) Dennis was keeping Mr. Wilson active and engaged in life!

Opportunity comes in various shapes, sizes and colors my friend. They are the stuff of life, IF we take ACTION on them.

How lucky and blessed we are, finding people and resources that help us become better people and become MORE, for ourselves and our families.

Think Dennis Mitchell and see the world as he does. See every day as he does, and your life and business will flourish. Don't forget to SEE the Opportunity and then TAKE ACTION!

""""""Oh Mr. Wilssssssssssssssooon""""""!!!!!!!!!!! --

May your day be a treasure bringing Increase and Plenty to your door.

How to Outshine other Marketers

How does a Compassionate Marketer outshine other marketers?

What does it take?

We must learn how to LISTEN with our hearts, not just our ears!

1--Take the time to get to know your prospects

2--Find out what their challenges are, what they need, what their goals are

3-- Supply THE way or solution for them to achieve their desire

When we learn how to LISTEN with our hearts and not just our ears we set ourselves apart from the herd. LISTENING with our hearts is the number one way to Shine ABOVE the rest!
Another way to digest this important Compassionate Marketing essential is revealed in this well stated article from my daily Kabbalah TuneUp letter:

"What we hear depends largely on how we listen. When we listen with our desire tuned into the frequency of sharing, we can find delight and wisdom in any sound. As my father and teacher Rav Berg writes,

"…this is why it is possible for a wise man to listen to the words of a fool and hear wisdom while another man, who may possess a genius IQ but who is motivated only by desire to receive for the self alone [ego] may sit for years at the feet of an intellectual or spiritual master and not understand a single word." -- Kabbalah Method, Rav Berg

Pay attention to where your head is at today. When your wife is telling you about her stressful day or your client is complaining about a misplaced order or your child is asking for the tenth time why the sky is blue, notice where your desire is. Do you have the person's best interests in mind - or is your mind elsewhere? "

**********************

Helping Others achieve THEIR goals and dreams will get you where you want to be! Success leaves a trail. There is nothing more gratifying than to help someone

1- regain their health
2- achieve financial success
3- reach a personal goal

AND, there is nothing more rewarding. The Universe pays us in "like kind".

Listen with your Heart today and you will have a prosperous and gratifying day. More importantly, you will have practiced The Gift of Giving-- Giving someone your time, heart and solution.

May your day be a treasure bringing Increase and Plenty to your door.
